LMC is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center Look-a-Like who serves the underserved communities.
Our team is committed to improving access to care by responding to ever changing health care needs through health education and prevention programs.
LMC is a multi-specialty medical office with multiple office locations in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.
As a Medical Receptionist you will support the providers and patients through a variety of clerical tasks.
This includes but not limited to the following:
Checking in and out patients Verifying insurance eligibility Obtaining different monetary payments Using office equipment such as scanner, fax machine, copy machine, e-mails Translating (Spanish to English) Answering and making telephone calls Updating and entering information in the medical records system Scheduling appointments Other duties as assigned LMC requires all staff to be fluent in Spanish as we have a very high Spanish speaking patient population, we want our patients to have one less burden in the communication process.
You will have a set schedule to help plan your personal and work duties.
The schedule is set on a two-week basis, and you will know the hours, days and locations.
LMC requires all staff to have a high school diploma, able to travel to all office locations and work two ten-hour day shifts.
It is also preferred but not required to have experience in a medical field.
Our training is a 30-day period and there are always resources such as manager on site, manager on-call and resources for you to review an assure you are confident in doing all your duties that you are assigned.

We require all our staff to travel to all of our office locations if coverage is needed.
You will have a home office and a set schedule, but traveling will be required when coverage is needed.
