Summary:
As a Server at Denny's, you will be responsible for greeting and seating customers, recording orders, and providing excellent customer service.
You will also be involved in delivering food, removing dishes and trays, and assisting with stocking, cleaning, and food preparations.

Greet and seat customers, record orders, and apply suggestive selling techniquesEnsure prompt placement of orders and follow up to ensure guest satisfactionRemove unneeded dishes and utensilsInform management of any safety hazards, guest complaints, or other problemsComplete side-work in a safe and timely mannerOffer suggestive selling to maintain proper guest check averageDeliver food and remove dishes in a timely mannerBe courteous and friendly with all guests, present a professional image at all timesEmbody and promote company valuesPhysical Requirements:
Extensive standing during peak hoursExposure to heat, steam, smoke, and coldReaching heights of approximately 5 feet and depths of 2 to 3 feetHigh level of mobility/flexibilityBending, reaching, walkingCommunicating with customersOperating cash registerCarrying trays of food productsQualifications Standards:
Good communication skillsGuest-oriented personalityAbility to function under stress during peak hours of operationExcellent physical condition due to job requirementsFlexibility and ability to manage changeCompliance with health regulationsMust complete all training, anti-discrimination & anti-harassment training and embrace our company's nondiscrimination & anti-harassment policies and values.
