Incumbents will guard against theft, vandalism and other crimes against the company and employees.
Incumbents will also guard against fire and loss of property and comply with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, policies, order and rules relating to health and welfare.
The position will report to the Mgr Facilities or Mgr Distribution Center Security.
What you'll do at Insight 60% - Continuous surveillance of the post assigned, paying particular attention to unusual circumstances.
Enforce all security and safety policies and regulations.
Prevent, detect and report breaches of security, fire hazards.
Conduct personnel metal detector screening, to insure proper compliance.
Conduct Receiving / Shipping audits of material & product entering and leaving the facility.
Monitor Security Cameras and Card Access, and Alarm Systems.
Conduct foot patrols of building interiors and exteriors.
Provide for Asset security.
30% - Prepare daily security logs, and Incident Reports, record property movement logs, visitor logs, answers telephones for various departments after hours.
Secure buildings and sets alarms as specified by Post assignments.
10% - Provide escorts for facility visitors as requested.
Perform and comply with emergency notification procedures both internally and externally, as needed.
Perform safety inspections and audits as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
