Director of Finance and Compliance
The Graphic Systems Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation is the largest graphic distributor in the US. We deliver solutions for workflow, consultative services, remote monitoring, color standardization and G7 implementation, pressroom products, CTP, proofing, digital printing, wide format and more. FUJIFILM also manufactures and distributes Sericol inks and is a leader in the development of UV inks for the screen printing, narrow web, and large format digital printing industries.
We are hiring for a Director of Finance and Compliance for our Hanover Park, IL location. As the Director of Finance and Compliance you will report into the President. In this role you will ensure all required accounting/finance functions are implemented and performing as designed. Prepare reports which outline the company's financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present, and future operations. Provide leadership and direction to team members, while ensuring growth, development and achievement of strategic company objectives. Direct and coordinate the activities for formulation, monitoring and presentation of financial / budget and strategic analysis as it relates to corporate objectives and initiatives. Work on compliance matters both independently and in collaboration with other Compliance officers. Become a valued partner to the Division Senior Management from Sales, Marketing and Operations by providing expert financial advice and support for all business projects and key decisions.

Some of the responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Direct compilation of data based on statistical studies and analysis to assist in budget preparation and to justify funds requested.
Review operating budgets to analyze trends affecting budget needs by identifying issues, conducting statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
Leads the preparation of regular and special budget reports to interpret budget directives and to establish policies for carrying out directives aimed at enhancing profitability.
Partners with line management to develop challenging financial goals, related strategies and operating plans, and insightful measurement systems.
Provides interpretations and analysis of actual performance versus/plan forecast and assesses the impact of future results.
Provides financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information; advising departments on the collection and analysis of data.
May conduct ad hoc analysis for potential business projects and/or acquisitions, divestitures or join ventures and assist in due diligence.
Evaluate financial performances and generate profit and loss statements.
Propose several financial options to support business objectives.
Identify financial risks and develop appropriate action plans.
Provide guidance to financial staff when needed.
Perform month-end reconciliation and account closing processes
Assure and assess all special projects meet the budgetary goals and initiatives of the corporation.
Support development of new or updated polices to address new risk areas or to improve operations and/or internal controls.
Oversee training program in areas such as Antitrust, and Anti-Corruption Anti-Money Laundering, among others, to educate employees on legal and ethical standards and to ensure a comprehensive understanding.
Execute internal auditing and monitoring for policy compliance. Track corrective and preventive action plans associated with previous audit findings. Manage internal and external corrective action plans.
Promote use of the Compliance Hotline and generally serve as the company's advocate for the establishment of a culture of compliance and sound ethical behavior.
Conduct policy and procedure assessment. Conduct compliance risk analysis. Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk. Develop and implement action plans to mitigate potential risks.
Collaborate closely with colleagues in Legal, IT, HR, Finance, Regulatory and other core functions in order to direct compliance issues through the appropriate channels for investigation and resolution, reporting and remediation

Required skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial, or Business Administration
10+ years' experience in all aspects of accounting and financial reporting
10+ years of significant finance, marketing, economics or business administration analysis in a business to business or consumer products organization
Business and financial acumen to acquire and translate data and metrics into insights and meaningful analysis to ensure strategic fit.
3 + years of Managerial Experience: managing teams of Finance contributors of varying levels
Advanced skills in Excel, spreadsheet database and financial reporting tools
Excellent presentation skills
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills (product management, support, sales, service, and management)
Project management in facilitating the execution of initiatives
Excellent analytical, statistical & math skills
Thorough knowledge & understanding of financial statements and ability to analyze and make recommendations
Demonstrated problem solving ability
Skilled in SAP
Ability to travel 20%
Desired skills:
MBA in Finance, Business Admin or related area preferred
3+ years as a division or corporate controller or management consultant
Knowledge of acquisitions, joint ventures & divestitures
Familiarity with JSOX compliance
Broad exposure to compliance and regulatory matters facing global companies in multiple areas of substantive law, including Antitrust, Anti-Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, and Privacy.
Experience evaluating and auditing regulatory matters to identify operational issues and recommend and implement strategies to resolve compliance problems

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
