Personal Banker

Summary:


The Personal Banker is responsible for performing intermediate duties and support related to branch operational activities and financial services; opening, maintaining and closing all account types; performing branch clerical duties; promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.


Duties and Responsibilities:


A sales position with a primary focus on sales development and relationship building through the cross sale. Responsible for selling a full range of banking products and services to meet existing and prospective customers' needs, while providing specialized care and service to existing and prospective bank customers. Ideal candidate will be sales and team oriented, organized, and good at multi-tasking. Our consistent tenured employees show that we believe in promoting from within.


Job Requirements not limited to:


? Consistently meet and exceed sales goals as set by management.


? Open and close accounts.


? Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer business confidential.


? Day-to-day transactions such as stop payments, wire transfers, overdrafts, and inquires. Open new accounts.


? Offer additional services and cross-sell to customers as you see fit?credit cards, etc.


Desired Skills:


Working knowledge of Microsoft Office


Good Time Management Skills to meet client deadlines


Strong Organization Skills


High Quality Customer Service


Previous Sales Experience preferred as well as knowledge of FiServ operating environment, but not required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
