Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift - Hanover Park

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure Maintenance Department compliance with all Company Quality System, Operational, and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including safety and housekeeping procedures.
  • Maintain all facility safety devices and insure they are in proper working condition.
  • Check all automatic controls such as security and fire alarms and maintain appropriate records.
  • Maintain all safety equipment to OSHA and company standards.
  • Maintain all production equipment in a safe and proper operating condition. This includes both mechanical and minor electrical repairs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as necessary.
  • Perform machine installations and modifications as necessary.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment.
  • Communicate with department heads and production personnel about proper operation of equipment and future upgrades.
  • Maintain appropriate records.
  • Alert Quality Assurance of any suspected maintenance problems, which could affect product quality.
  • Maintain spare part inventory in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate with peers and supervisors in addressing problem areas, implementation of corrective and preventive actions, planning methods, and operating procedures and such other duties as may be assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
